2013-2014
Our school year is off to a great start. The teachers are excited to work with new and improved curriculum, the students seem excited to be back, and we had a nice turnout of families at our Annual Fall Open House. Thank you for coming to meet your child's teacher and see their classroom. We really enjoyed having you stop by. We would like to welcome our new principal Tamara Jamierson. We are very excited to have her as part of our Woods Lake family!
Keeping Our Children Safe
As of September 26th, 2011, a new security entry procedure was put in place. To gain entry to the building, with our new system, the security buzzer must be pushed if you are entering between 9:15am and 3:30pm. You will then be granted access to the building by security staff. A few basics are listed below to help keep you informed and help keep our children safe.
*School begins at 8:40am. School doors open at 8:35am, but we ask that students wait until 8:40 to enter.
*School is dismissed at 3:45pm on full days and 11:55am on half days.
*Please come to the main office and sign in as a Woods Lake visitor upon entering the school between 9:15am and 3:30pm. (push silver buzzer on right side of door)
*The rear parking lot (Whites Rd.) is used for morning bus arrivals and afternoon bus departures. For safety reasons, we ask that you use the Oakland Drive parking lot to drop off/pick up students.
